~ Ministry for Our Children ~


Our Sunday school is based both in Aghalee and Maghaberry. Currently we have over 65 children who attend Sunday school, which runs from September to June. The children are spilt into four age groups.

4 to 5 Year Olds
5 to 7 Year Olds
8 to 10 Year Olds
And the 11+ Group

The first Sunday in the month we leave church during the singing of the first hymn, this is so we can have our own praise time before we begin our lesson. The last Sunday in the month is our family service, so we attend church with our family. The other Sundays in the month we leave church at approximately 11.45am for our lesson.


During the year we have two Children's Day Gift Services where we take part in the church service. It is also when we bring gifts to go to the children who are sick in hospital in Craigavon and the Royal Victoria.


After Christmas we have our annual combined party with the other youth organisations. This is a night packed with fun and games and also supper.


It is great to see such a large number of children attending Sunday school and we will welcome any new children who would like to join us from the age of 3 upwards. Likewise, we would also welcome anyone who would like to assist us each week with the children.
