~ Prayer with the Laying on of Hands ~


On the first Sunday of each month when there is an evening service we have been meeting to pray for healing at 6.30pm in Aghalee and using 'A Celebration of Healing and Wholeness' from the Book of Common Prayer. We pray for people by name during the intercessions and a small team of lay people assist the clergy in the time of ministry.


Many people from other churches and none have come and gone from our services since we began them in September 2004 and they seem to have found an important place in the life of the local community as an unthreatening opportunity to pray together for peace, healing and unity.


The services are gentle, low-key, devotional acts of worship and we try to welcome a guest preacher each month. To date we have been blessed through the ministry of David Jardine SSF, Pat Mollan, Jim Campbell, Tom Keightley, Jono Pierce, David Brown and Elizabeth Hanna.
