~ Choral Singing at Sunday Worship ~


Choir meets for practice at 8pm on Thursday evenings between September and June and we give a lead to the singing on Sundays at both the main morning (11.30) and evening (6.30) services throughout the year - and at weddings and funerals as requested.


This autumn we hope to get to grips with some of the settings for the psalms in our new Prayer Book. A number have been written by Alison Cadden - no stranger to the organ at Aghalee. Along with the hymn book, which is still full of material we haven't used yet, there is plenty of scope for us to add lots more pieces to the familiar hymns and canticles we all love.


There remains plenty of room up in the organ loft for new members and we would love to swell our ranks with fresh talent. All ages and abilities are most welcome. There is no voice test prior to admission and the ability to read music is not a requirement! Our first rehearsal of the new season is Thursday 8 September 2005.
